Leadership Project

FALL 2024-2025

AGES:  15-18

TIME:  Session 1 (9:30 - 11:30 am)

TUITION: $300 annually (sibling discounts available upon request)

CONTENT: Youth-driven individual and class projects and goals, reading, discussion

In this class students will practice leadership skills by taking the lead in different class activities including book discussions, writing workshops, simulations, and field trips. Students will set, work on, and report to the class progress on at least three goals of their choice. 

The structure of the class will include the following elements:

•         - One on one mentoring environment.

•         - Reading and discussing of books that are youth selected.

•         - Working on individual projects of interest and sharing them with the class in a positive peer review environment.

•         - Class project each semester chosen by the class and worked on as a group mostly outside of class.The teaching of leadership skills, study  skills, and core values through document studies, short stories, transformational models, simulations, group activities, colloquium, and field trips.
